The countdown is on! Broadstone Fun Day & Rock on the Rec returns on Sunday 5th July 2026, bringing another fantastic day of community spirit, family fun and live entertainment to Broadstone Recreation Ground.
One of Dorset’s biggest free community events, Broadstone Fun Day brings together local businesses, charities, community groups, performers and volunteers for a day that truly showcases the best of Broadstone.
This year’s event promises plenty to enjoy, including:
🚂 NEW for 2026 – Chuffley Light Railway
🧗 The return of the Climbing Wall & Cave Experience
🚗 The ever-popular Car Show
🐶 The Waggy Tails Dog Show
🦅 Falconry Display and Arena Entertainment
🎪 Live performances and family activities
🎠 Children’s rides and attractions
🛍️ Over 50 local businesses, charities and community stalls
🍔 Fantastic food, drinks and sweet treats
🎟️ A huge Grand Raffle featuring 29 amazing prizes, including the legendary Barrow of Booze
🎸 Rock on the Rec, returning with an incredible line-up of live music, culminating in a headline performance from Flynn’s Arcade
Whether you’re bringing the family for the day, catching up with friends, discovering local businesses, enjoying the live music or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone at Broadstone Fun Day.
The event remains completely free to attend and is organised entirely by volunteers, with support from local businesses, sponsors and community organisations who help make the day possible.
